L to R:  Shahriar Noroozi Zadeh, Amir Refaee, Alex Kyriazis and William Choi for “Automated Pathology, Characterizing Traumatic Brain Injury” – MDDC Award for Excellence finalists.

Congratulations to the two Engineering Physics student teams competing in the Medical Device Development Center (MDDC) Awards, receiving the Award for Excellence in Biomedical Engineering Student Design and Innovation as finalists.

On the “Smart App for Monitoring Exercise Protocols during Personalized Blood Flow Restriction Training” team were Anne Lim, James Park, and Johnson Liu, also MDDC Award for Excellence finalists.

The projects were developed from the Engineering Physics Capstone course, ENPH 459.

Our two teams were part of the 9 finalists:  mostly focused on biomedical engineering, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
