Complementary Studies Courses

The Complementary Studies portion of the Engineering Physics Program is determined by the Faculty of Applied Science. Students needing clarification on which courses are acceptable should consult Engineering Student Services in the ground floor of the Kaiser Building, phone 604 822-6556.

Some notes:

APSC 450, Communications, and Engineering Economics are all part of the core program – no need to schedule additional courses.

You will need 3 credits of an Impact of Engineering on Society, Sustainability and Environmental Stewardship course, and 6 credits of humanities (almost any course in the Faculty of Arts).

Most students will have completed 3 credits of humanities in first year.
